Soul The Duo

SOUL "The Duo" (Manit-Eshan) is a pop/sufi band from Chandigarh, India. The two members band originally consists of song writer, back vocalist and guitarist, Manit Dani and main vocalist, Eshan Sharma. Founded in 2009, they first became popular playing Saiyaan by Kailash Kher, in their engineering college and Youtube and with the release of their song "DIL NE KAHA", which was a hit in Chandgarh topping the local music charts on Reverbnation.

The band initially achieved commercial success after performing on Chandigarh's famous radio station 94.3 MY FM live. They were called again on public demand and till now they have performed for around four times on air.

Eshan Sharma, the main vocalist, is a versatile singer and has been a contestant of INDIAN IDOL 4 as well as the first runner up of JAMMU IDOL-2. He has won many ibibo contests all India level and got chance to sing and record song under the guidance of  Master Saleem. He also met Kailash Kher and was lucky to spend some time with him to get valuable tips from the Maestro.He has also sung a few regional bhajans & is neither less than a professional.He was also amongst the finalist of a show named "KAL KE SITARE" held in Patiala organised by Mehek Cultural Forum and has won many awards in college and University fests in Hindi Light Vocal Singing. 

The Duo started covering songs and posted videos on Youtube,and Reverbnation and people started appreciating and gave positive feedbacks (and received fame across the borders as well).
